Freddie Gibbs was the first artist to record at the Closed Sessions mansion. In this case, the first time was the charm, as Gibbs teamed up with Chicago's GLC to craft "Heads of the Heads", a flowing narrative produced by Tony Baines. Gibbs has experienced tremendous success since CS: ATX. He followed up inclusion in XXL's Freshmen Class of 2010 with the critically acclaimed EP, Str8 Killa, headlined Chicago's Pitchfork Festival and is currently preparing to release a new project produced by The Alchemist.
