DJ Jazzy Jeff is a trailblazer. He came out of Philadelphia's DJ scene to reach heights that few will ever know. Along with being recognized as one of the world's best DJ's, Jeff made history alongside his partner, The Fresh Prince aka Will Smith. From their historic grammy win to their equally historic grammy boycott, their global television show, and hit records that remain part of every DJ's arsenal currently - If you ain't got no "Summertime" in your Serato, I don't know what to tell you... His solo albums like The Magnificent and The Return of the Magnificent, and M3, Jeff continues to showcase his talent and his message.
For Legend Conversation #4, Jeff graced our audience with stories about his first DJ experiences, how he got his name, meeting Will Smith for the first time, working on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, and how Jam Master Jay taught his son to walk. He also carefully spoke about his love for DJ culture, and what it means to be a DJ.

The series was launched in 2018 by DJ/Journalist and Closed Sessions founder, Alexander "DJ RTC" Fruchter. After a brief hiatus, due to Covid-19, Legend Conversation relaunched in 2021, with the addition of streetwear pioneer and cultural strategist, Dave Jeff.
